Whether you’re single or attached, if you have a furry friend, there are events going on during Valentine’s Week for you and your furry Valentine!

Thursday, February 13

Chicago Party Animals – Help support the cat rescue efforts of St. Sophia’s Forgotten Felines at Karaoke for a Cause. Bring you socialized dog and sing along. No charge, donation bar and fun raffle prizes. And, great cats needing to find a home. From 6:30 to 9:30.

Wigglyville Lakeview East is throwing a Valentine’s Day shin dig! Come celebrate an early Valentine’s Day with your favorite pups. We’ll have wine, cheese and other treats. They have gift bags for at least the first 20 people. A sale will run during the party as well throughout the store.

VaudeVillian Valentine’s Day Show

Fizz Bar & Grill – Dog owners can gush about their love for puppies while laughing the night away with some original entertainment! What better way to spend your Valentine’s Day this year? Join other dog lovers for a night of comedy, improv, burlesque, and stand up. Bring a photo of your dog (you can make it into a fun valentine if you have time/would like to) to toss into a bucket upon arrival. Before the show starts you will pull a dog out of the bucket and then try to find its owner and get a few fun facts about the owner and their pup. The person with the most info on their valentine at the end of the night wins a prize! Event starts at 7:30pm. This 1 & 1/2 hour show is only $5 (cash only at the door)

Bucktown Pub – Celebrate Valentine’s weekend with some hot puppy love at Be Fido’s Friend’s Second Annual Valentine’s party. Well-mannered pooches may party down! Enjoy sweets, kissing booth and so much more! 1:00-5:00. Tickets $5.

The Anti-Cruielty Society – Here’s another fun option on the Chicago pet event calendar. Looking for a better way to get into shape? Participants can enjoy a sampling of the classes, talk to the K9 Fit Club expert trainers & team K9 classes combine cardio, strength and stability training with basic obedience moves.K9 Fit Club is committed to building programs and communities dedicated to keeping both dogs and owners healthy. Check out the great classes offered by the K-9 Fit Club at this event for New Leash on Life. From 4:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Delilah’sBeers for Barks, is a post Valentines Day fundraising event benefiting the animals at Secondhand Snoots and Chicagoland Eskie Rescue. Beer, pizza, and conversation with fellow dog owners! Parlour on Clark – Rock out to the sounds of Pawpurrs and HAG and support Famous Fido Rescue. One hour of free champagne and awesome raffles! Event starts at 8:00. PM. Tickets are $10 at the door.
